Teach Cruachán Bed and Breakfast is your home away from home on Achill Island. Owners Michael Anthony and Roisin Lavelle have years of experience in giving personal attention to guests at all times. Your visit begins with a welcoming cup of tea/coffee and ends with a personal farewell. In between you will make yourself entirely at home in our home, experiencing true Irish hospitality and comfortable accommodation in a breathtakingly beautiful location. Teach Cruachán has uninterrupted views of the Atlantic Ocean, and you have a very good chance of seeing common dolphins and basking sharks from the comfort of the Dining Room. There is plenty of space in Teach Cruachán B&B for guests to relax and make themselves at home. Come and go as you please, make yourself a hot drink whenever you like. Log onto our free Wifi network for Internet access on your smart phone, tablet or laptop. Feel free to have a picnic or enjoy a take-away meal in the Dining Room.
Our breakfast menu starts with a selection of cereals, fresh fruit, juice and yoghurt. You then choose from the menu: the Full Irish made with Kelly's award-winning sausages, puddings and dry-cured Mayo bacon rashers, or Scrambled eggs with Keem Bay smoked salmon, French Toast with maple syrup, cold meats and cheeses, and even Fresh Fish when available. Special dietary needs are no problem - just let us know. Basically, you can have anything you like for breakfast, because we cook after you order. Honestly, nothing is too much trouble.
We will also prepare packed lunches to order so you can make the most of your day in the beautiful outdoors.

We also offer bicycle and accessory hire, a two-hour guided tour of Achill Island and whatever passenger transport you might need in our licensed 16-seat minibus (like a lift to the pub or restaurant, or transport to and from the train station in Westport).
A drying room is available for those whose clothes get a little 'damp' in the great outdoors, access to a bait fridge/freezer for anglers, and ample off-road parking for cars, caravans, campers, boats, trailers...you name it.
